Yearbook Update Week 18
Good morning and welcome to week 18!
I’m very pleased with the progress we’ve started making on our pages! Nearly every student has gotten logged into our yearbook program and all the pages that have been assigned are being worked on.
With the end of the semester coming up there are only a couple of events/things to do for yearbook:
Every student has been assigned a page; some students have been made senior editors to look over the yearbook as a whole, while others have been assigned to a group to work on the page.
Their final is being graded on the completion of the page. Just about everyone has photos so they should have a page complete with photos, captions, and decorative elements present. The rubric has been posted in Classroom so the students all know what their pages are being graded on.
As far as events go, we have home softball and soccer games on Monday, Thursday, and Friday this week. The SignUp Genius was posted in the class stream so we can get photographers to the game. For students who don’t wish to work on pages, I could use videographers for our home basketball games.
What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
It was another busy weekend for the Dudek Family: Peter had a soccer game in Tempe, Myla had her dance recital in Queen Creek. I must have set some sort of record for how quickly I made it from one to the other. It was also the staff Christmas party at the Sippel’s house so the kids went to a sitter. Raelynn was not happy but eventually calmed down. It is rare to get these child-free evenings.
Have a great week roadrunners!
Mr. Dudek
