Yearbook Update Week 14

 In Yearbook

Good afternoon and welcome to week 14!

With are mid-lull between fall and winter sports, so we have the awesome opportunity to complete our academic and elective pages to make our lives easier down the line. There are obviously some things we can’t complete until the events come up i.e. cultural fair, STEM fest, etc. but we could possibly finish nearly 60 % of the yearbook by winter break.

We only have three events this month when it comes to photo needs: The Cultural Fair on 11/12, the Drama Production of Pride and Prejudice on 11/18,19,20 and the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on 11/24. I’m using this time to try and get as many of the photos from previous events uploaded. It’s difficult because the student computers don’t have a way to import photos so I’m doing all that myself.

Every student has been assigned a page; some students have been made senior editors to look over the yearbook as a whole, while others have been assigned to a group to work on the page.

These efforts will be reflected in the gradebook when I get caught up this weekend. These points are NOT easy to make up either, so make sure to speak with your child about their contributions to the yearbook.

What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
It was a busy weekend: Club volleyball tryouts, family in town for the races at Phoenix International Raceway, kiddos had sports.

Oh, and my wife and I are expecting our 4th child 🙂 Due in June.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
