Yearbook Update

Good morning Roadrunners and welcome to week 5!

We’re making some steady progress on the yearbook with regards to creating the ladder sections and starting work with the camera.

We now have additional participation opportunities: We are working on adding a sports broadcasting component to the course. This would include live-streaming our games, possible live commentary, PA announcing, etc.

Also, there is an additional writing component available to students. AZPreps365 have a program called Student SID that allows students to write about their schools sports team that get published on the AZPreps365 website. It’s a great opportunity for those interested in sports journalism, additional writing practice, and a unique way to contribute to the yearbook.

We have our first home football game this week and our first home volleyball games (JV and Varsity) on Monday. I already had every spot filled for Friday’s game, which is amazing! I’ll be creating additional opportunities for those still wishing to participate this week in some capacity.

What’s going on with Mr. Dudek??

Weekends are big family days for me. I try to spend individual time with each of my kids, so this weekend was father/son time. I took my son out for a frosty and we had a movie night together. His choice in film was the newer Godzilla film, which he enjoyed. I guess we’ll watch the sequels next.
