World History Update Week 14

Good afternoon and welcome to week 14!

Last week we finished up our studies on the Latin American Revolutions, thereby ending our studies on the age of revolutions! Students had to create a mini-presentation on the Latin American country of their choosing and present some of the more notable details about that country’s revolution.

This week I’m just having the students put the final touches on their project for the Cultural Fair that is coming up on Friday. With the need to set up prior to, and no school Thursday due to Veteran’s Day, projects do have to be wrapped up by Wednesday.

It was a busy this past weekend with club volleyball tryouts and family in town for the races at Phoenix International Raceway. I also had a ceiling fan start sparking and tripping the fuse so I had that fun project to work on.

Oh, and I told the students this last week: we’re having another baby! Due June of ’22
