World History Update

Good morning Roadrunners and welcome to our first full week of school!

I’m am very excited to be working with your child on their educational journey through history.

After getting to know each other last week we began a brief overview of the major belief systems of the world, covering the concepts of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and Daoism. We’ll take a couple of weeks to go into what their beliefs entail and why it’s important.

This week we’re going into more details on the developments of these religions and their impact on the world. This sets the foundation for when we start talking about interactions between cultures in later lessons.
