Yearbook Update

Good morning Roadrunners and welcome to week 11!

I hope everyone had a pleasant Fall Break, are feeling well-rested, and rearing to come back.

The photos are looking better and better every week which is good because we have a busy week ahead of us. It is homecoming week this week and there is A LOT of stuff to do. Below is the SignUpGenius for the events this week:

Yearbook Week Of 10/12

There are a lot of moving pieces and events/activities will start having deadlines starting in November. For students to be receiving weekly credit they need to be actively engaged in either photo taking, page design, or working on developing copy (writing) for the pages.

Weekly Activities:
Template design
Copywriting/Interviewing
Yearbook sales

As always if your student has late/missing assignments please encourage them to get them turned in. I am lenient with the late policy and as long as students turn in quality work it is graded accordingly. HOWEVER, I am not longer accepting work for the first six weeks of school as we are past the 4 week deadline, week 7 is the first week students can turn late work in for.

What’s going on with Mr. Dudek?
I had a pretty good break. Installed a new garage door opener (not fun), installed a new smart thermostat (not fun), but I took the family to Vertuccio Farms and also drove up to Dewey-Humboldt to go to Mortimer Farms for some cooler weather which was fun.

As ALWAYS, if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns please feel free to reach out to me. Also, if you see errors in the grade book, please email me.

Have a great week Roadrunners,
~Mr. Dudek
