World History Update

Welcome to week 15 everyone!

After all the research, planning, and preparation the Cultural Fair has come to a close. I was very impressed with the projects and the efforts the students put into their chosen topics and proud of the work put in. While the fair itself could have run more smoothly the projects themselves were great!

Here is a snapshot of this week:

The growth and development of the Middle East and its impact on the world is crucial considering the modern-day events and occurrences. We’ll examine the development of Islamic caliphates and their impact on Asia, Africa, and Europe; religious influences, as well as how Islam influences law and government in the Middle East.

I’ve got my work cut out for me going through all the Cultural Fair materials for grading so they’ll be updated soon.

What’s going on with Mr. Dudek?
Worked with my father-in-law on fixing up our old Jeep. A rocker arm had fallen out and the head gasket was cracked. Just in time too because my car needs some new tie rod ends and a new power steering pump. No rest for the weary. Volleyball is over and so is the cultural fair, so maybe I can start sleeping again 😛
