World History Update

We’ve made it to week 6 and in person learning!

It has been an absolute pleasure getting to meet your kiddos in person! The energy is great and I look forward to seeing more of you returning later this week and next. For those of you still staying home, I love your positivity and energy you bring through the screen. We’ve finished with the ancient civilizations and started this week with our study of Classical India

Here is a snapshot of this week:

*CK12 – 2.2 Classical India
*Presentations on India either Friday or Tuesday (after our three-day weekend)

We start with early archaeological findings of the region to identify the beginning of Classical India and then study the impact of Hinduism, the caste system, and Buddhism on the development of India from 3000 B.C.E. go roughly 550 C.E. We’ll end the unit with the students presenting a summary of the Classical India.
