World History Update

Happy Week 20 Roadrunners!

Home stretch, we can do it!

This week the students have begun turning in their research project portion of the final. This project is designed to connect history with current events to show how the past affects our present and how students can affect the future. The students are to pick a historical event/person to summarize and provide specific information on, a current event/person to summarize and provide specific information on, make a connection between the two, and say what positive action they can take toward the future having researched these two items. Most of the students have picked some solid topics with a clear focus. Other may need a bit more work to make a connection. If you could take a few minutes to talk with them about their projects it could be a great help to them.

The project is due on Monday next week. The multiple choice portion of the final will take place on Tuesday.

I told everyone in class today that if everyone gets the project done early that we could review for the test on Monday, so the ball is in their court 🙂

What’s going on with Mr. Dudek?
First week of club volleyball is in the books. I’ve got some work I’m doing on the cars this weekend but other than that it should be a relaxing weekend leading to the final week of classes for the semester!
