World History Update

Good evening Roadrunners!

If feels as though this week just flew by only to have Friday last forever. I know I’ll be busy with projects for my new home and staying active, so make sure you’re active too. We’re not designed to be stationary so get up and move!

This week you all blew me away with how well we grasped the material. By my estimates we covered nearly 4.5 million years of history! From the Stone Age to ancient civilizations in Mesopotamia, you all rocked the material.

We covered so much history because daily life didn’t change that much until the development of agriculture. After that, it’s like the intro to The Big Bang Theory where everything begins happening faster and faster 🙂 Since humans have time to pursue interests outside of hunting and gathering, we’ll start to incorporate some individual and groupwork projects into our daily routine.

As always, I’ll have the gradebook updated by Sunday so if you submit/resubmit an assignment after 5pm Saturday please let me know. We should have assignments as “Mark Done” or “Turn In,” making sure to attach notes and files when needed.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Mr. Dudek
