Sports Broadcasting/Videography Update
We made it through four weeks!
This week went really well for content development. The kids worked on developing “how-to” videos in order to work on planning for specific narrative techniques as well as camera work. It took a little longer to complete than some of our previous assignments, so to finish off the week the students had the option of either filming their own 15-30 second commercial, or completing a self-reflection piece to help with evaluating the quality of their own work and help me in finding better ways to help them with the content.
Here is a snapshot of this upcoming week:
*Daily bellwork (linked and listed in Classroom)
*Video production review
Next week we have our MAP testing so we will not actually have class Thursday or Friday.
Additionally, we have a half-day on Wednesday next week so our class period is the last one to meet and we dismiss at 11:24. Since we return to Campus via our hybrid learning format on the 31st, we’ll use Monday and Tuesday to go over the various elements of video production and preparing for the return of sports.
I’ve been frequently updating grades in Infinite Campus, but if you notice an error please reach out to me. If it is regarding a missing assignment, please check the comments on those assignments before reaching out as it may provide some clarification.
I’ll be out of town this weekend for a wedding in Wisconsin, leaving Friday morning and returning Monday afternoon. If you need to reach out to me I will have email, though I might not respond as quickly as I normally do.
I hope you have a terrific week and I’ll see you Tuesday,
Mr. Dudek
