Sports Broadcasting Update

Welcome to week 29!

We had an awesome week this week with the end of winter season. Senior Night for the basketball team we stepped up our coverage with additional camera work and a color commentator coming in for the game. Additionally, we were able to get some more graphics into our stream as well. We did learn some limitations we have: Our older sound mixer wasn’t up to handling two extra microphones. This excites me because we’re building something special.

This last week we’re going to review our coverage of the game and working on game stories and profiles. We’ll also look ahead to our coverage of spring athletics.

That all being said we’re in for a less busy week leading into conferences.

We have three half days ahead, so no class on Thursday.

What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
Boys volleyball starts this week, so what little time I did have available is now gone.
