AP World History Update
Welcome to week 21 everyone!
I hope everyone got to enjoy some rest over break! It is a more relaxed week to come back to with three half-days Wednesday through Friday so we will have class Wednesday and Friday, but not Thursday.
We start our 6th unit with chapter 18 which is a good transition from the Industrial Revolution to European imperialism in the nineteenth century. This can help give context to this second “wave” of European expansion. It also gives a good overview of motivations for imperialism in the nineteenth century.
With the start of Unit 6 we are officially done with 2/3 of the content for the class. As we get closer to the AP testing date, we’ll begin to incorporate more skill work required to score well on the exam.
What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
My break was a good one. My in-laws flew in from Wisconsin on Christmas Eve and stayed through the 4th of January. I cleaned the garage, epoxy-coated the floor, built some hanging storage shelves for the garage, installed shelving and lighting in a closet, and built a fire pit. So overall productive, if not a busy, break.
Have a terrific week Roadrunners!
Mr. Dudek
