AP World History Update

Happy Friday the 13th everyone!

I’ll be honest, it felt odd getting back to our normal routine after the craziness that was Cultural Fair. It was made even more odd because of the day off mid-week.

Here is a snapshot of the upcoming week:
*Daily bellwork (linked and listed in Classroom)
*Chapter 16
*SAQ & AP Exam skill building

Chapter 16 is one of the longer chapters in our book. It covers 1750-1914 which is commonly referred to as “the long nineteenth century,” during which we see revolutions occurring all around the world including the American, Mexican, Haitian, and French Revolutions. The American Revolution is covered more in the sense of the global context with focus on eurocentrism.

What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
Nothing new. It’s nice getting home at a reasonable hour without volleyball. My kids like seeing me.

I hope you have a terrific week,
Mr. Dudek
