AP World History Update
Welcome to week 36!
We’re inching ever closer to the AP exam date on 5/20, just over a month away.
This past week we took our first multiple choice practice exam and I’ll be grading those this evening.
This home stretch of the school year is all about skilling and drilling what they need to be able to do for the AP exam. More practice sessions are going to follow along with reviews of content and the different elements presented in the writing portions of the exam.
This week’s agenda include:
Weekly Bellwork
AP Practice – SEQ or DBQ
Unit 6 Review – Transition from the Industrial Revolution to European imperialism in the nineteenth century. This can help give
students contextualization to this second “wave” of European expansion. It also gives a good overview of motivations for imperialism in the nineteenth century.
What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
We wrapped up the girls club season this past weekend, taking second place in the gold division championships! While I love coaching I’m looking forward to having some more time on the weekends, especially when the yearbook gets submitted.
Have a wonderful week Roadrunners!
