AP World History Update
Hello and welcome to week 31!
Well, we’ve made it through the content. Now the real fun can begin. I’ve been having the students go the unit progress checks to see which content areas we need to work on and which one’s we seem to have down. Across the board, everyone did awesome with the first couple of units. As the units went on we did seem to have some more difficulties or had not yet completed the unit progress checks. This past week their assignment was to complete any outstanding progress checks in AP Classroom.
The AP World History exam is scheduled for May 20th, just over nine weeks away. It just so happens that we have exactly nine units that we cover. It’s nice when things work out that way 🙂 Each week we’ll focus on one unit, reviewing content as well as diving into the different types of assessments (Short Essay, Long Essay, and Document Based Question) in addition to the skills required to score high on these elements of the exam
Here is a snapshot of this week:

*Unit 1 Review – SEQ, LEQ, DBQ Practice
What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
Boys volleyball is officially in full swing 🙂 We played some tough teams in our losses but we showed a lot of grit and promise for the weeks ahead. We’ve got two more home games this week in addition to the girls having a tournament this weekend. I also have about four weeks to finish the yearbook, so this is without exaggeration my most stress-filled part of the year.
I hope you have a terrific week,
Mr. Dudek
