AP World History Update

Welcome to week 28!

This past week we started Unit 9! We’re into our last two chapters to and we will have gotten through all the content we will need to for the AP exam in May. Once we’ve completed the content, we’ll start skilling and drilling the specific areas of the AP exam the students will encounter so as to prepare them for the rigors of the exam.

We had a bit of a textbook mix-up as we were using an older version of the AP Textbook. Thankfully, the only chapters that are impacted by the latest version is the last two chapters. I was able to secure a copy of the latest textbook and make a PDF from our last two chapters. The current chapter is set up more thematically than chronologically, like many other chapters of this textbook are. This is going to be helpful with students understanding these larger topics related to globalization in the twentieth century. This chapter focuses on how new technologies bring the world and the global economy closer together, along with the effects and reactions to those events.

What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
Boys Volleyball starts next week, so what little free time I have is about to disappear.
