Hello and welcome to week 15!

It was a long and arduous wait but the Cultural Fair has come and gone! The students did a fantastic job on their presentations!

Here is a snapshot of this week:
*Daily bellwork (linked and listed in Classroom)
*Finish Chapter 15, begin chapter 16
*Chapter 15 review
*SAQ & AP Exam skill building

I feel like I’m still reeling from the hectic-ness that was Cultural Fair. We’re finishing up Chapter 15 and jumping into Unit 5. I’ll also be sharing the AP Classroom Unit modules for reference as well. With only 7 weeks to the end of the quarter things are going to be moving quickly. It’s time to start integrating more of the skills required to take the AP Exam and go beyond just the content. The last couple of multiple choice quizzes have gone extremely well so it’s time to add in the short answer, long, answer, and eventually the dreaded DBQ.

I’m still going through all the notes from the Cultural Fair and will have grades updated as quickly as I can.

What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
Worked with my father-in-law on fixing up our old Jeep. A rocker arm had fallen out and the head gasket was cracked. Just in time too because my car needs some new tie rod ends and a new power steering pump. No rest for the weary. Volleyball is over and so is the cultural fair, so maybe I can start sleeping again 😛

I hope you have a terrific week,
Mr. Dudek
