AP World History Update Week 25
Good evening Roadrunners and welcome to week 25!
I hope everyone was able to enjoyed their weekend!
This past week and this week we examined WWII and the atrocities of the Holocaust, which really marked the beginning of genocides as we know them today. We did some more MCQ practice including a MCQ Unit Exam to summarize our learning from Unit 7. It is worth noting that we’re already into Unit 8 and our textbook is only 9 units long, so we’re right on track to wrap up by Spring Break.
This week we shift focus a little bit to post-WWII era communism, primarily in the Soviet Union and China, while keeping in mind the global impacts of the Cold War and decolonization efforts.
What’s New with Dudek?
It seems like all weekends are busy these days: Peter had volleyball, Myla had dance, Peter went to a b-day party then I went to coach a tournament in Tempe. This was just Saturday. Sunday wasn’t too bad though. I’m working on getting up earlier because boys volleyball for the high school starts Monday at 6:30 a.m. For those of you wondering how I get anything done with everything I do, it’s really just lack of sleep.
Have a great week Roadrunners!
Mr. Dudek
