AP World History Update Week 18

Good morning and welcome to week 18!

Half-days, Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, it’s all winding down to the end of the semester.

With this being our last full week before finals and end of term, my goal is to finish Unit 5 by Thursday and do review for the final on Friday. There is a lot of content to get through in that timeframe. Since we have two days for the final, I usually break it into two parts or give the students two days to finish it. The questions are taken from the Unit progress checks so it is all content they’ve seen before. The unit finishes with revolutions: French, Latin American, Industrial, and rise of communism/socialism.

What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
It was another crazy weekend. Peter had his final soccer game of the season in Tempe, Myla had a dance recital in Queen Creek. I must have set some sort of record for how quickly I made it from one to the other. We also had the staff Christmas party at the Sippel’s, so it was nice having a child-free evening. Those are evenings are few and far between.
