AP World History Update

 In AP World History

Good morning Roadrunners and welcome to Week 7!

We ended last week we looked at Religion and the Silk Road as one of the major contributing factors to the spread of things like goods, beliefs, and disease, The Indian Ocean and Sea Roads, as well as Chinese maritime voyages and connecting to the Sand Roads.

The topics of reading this week include cultural diffusion and the emergence of the Mongols. We end chapter 3 and start chapter 4 which also happens to be the end of another unit so we’ll have some more AP skills and practice like a DBQ or short essay.

What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
I did quite a bit of reading and writing over the weekend. Readings include books on coaching, a screenplay, a daily digest, and part II of Edmund Morris’ brilliant book Theodore Rex, based on the life of Theodore Roosevelt during his time in office. Also got to watch my son’s volleyball team play and they won. He got several serves over and some passing too. He’s going to be a stud like his dad 🙂

Have a wonderful week Roadrunners!
Mr. Dudek
