Good evening and welcome back from break!

This week we eased back into the swing of things, mostly discussing the latest film news and talking about what movies we saw over break. The students got into so pretty heated discussions regarding the latest Spiderman movie that I had to moderate 😛

Since most of the big film news over break was the sequel weekend with Sing 2, Spiderman: No Way Home and The Matrix: Resurrections, we’re going go back in time and review Sam Rami’s Spiderman starring Toby Maguire and follow it up with The Amazing Spiderman starring Andrew Garfield. We’ll compare and contrast what makes one better than the other with regards to cinematic techniques.

What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
It was a pretty chill break for the Dudeks. I used the time to see the newest Matrix movie, The King’s Man and Encanto. Kids started getting stir crazy week two, but thankfully the in-laws came to visit and kept them occupied.
