World History Update

Welcome to week 5!

This past week we finished our presentations on world belief systems and moved onto Trade and the Middle Passage. We’ll be discussing the Silk Roads, Trans-Saharan, and Trans-Oceanic trade routes while examining the cultural diffusion taking place during this time with regards to exchange of goods and ideas.

What’s going on with Mr. Dudek?
Weekends are for the family. I try to spend some one-on-one time with each of my kids alternating weeks and this weekend was my son’s turn. After his volleyball game we went out for a treat of his choosing and had a movie night just the two of us. It was his turn to pick and he selected Godzilla. He must have liked it because he asked if they made more. For my pick I might introduce him to Sean Connery’s James Bond in Dr. No. 🙂
