Yearbook Update
It’s the final countdown! (cue Europe: do-do-do-doooooo, do-do-do-do-do)
We are officially DONE with the yearbook! It is such a relief to be checking the boxes and getting the work submitted. It will be officially off to the printers on Monday as I’m putting some finishing touches on the senior portraits and we’re going to include Prom in the mix as well.
With the completed book, I’m going back and adding assignments as “progress checks” throughout the last couple of weeks that are based on the amount of work each student put into their pages and assisting with other pages. Grades will be updated throughout the weekend.
I also handed out the final today in class: It is a 10 (ten) prompt critique of the yearbook as a whole, not simply the pages that they worked on. Due to the scope of the entire yearbook, I’m allowing them ALL of next week to work on it as their final project. They spent enough time this year designing pages and selecting photos that I’m not going to have them do a design final for the semester.
What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
I’m officially done with volleyball. Both boys and girls have wrapped up their seasons so I get to sleep in a bit more and get home earlier to spend some much needed time with the family.
Enjoy your weekend Roadrunners!
