Yearbook Update
Welcome to Week 32!
It is a shorter week with Friday and Monday off for a 4-day weekend!
We’re quickly closing in on our yearbook deadline and I’m happy to see the pace starting to pick up in class. The fall sports pages are coming along nicely as well as the winter sports now that we have the team photos. Spring sports photos are starting to get taken and uploaded so we’ll be able to work on those pages shortly. We could really use some more photos from our elective courses to fill our page content, the rest of the work to do at the moment is the behind the scenes stuff that I need to do.
We’re still going to be cutting it close with our deadline though, so please encourage our workers to complete work outside of class too so we don’t have to have work sessions after school in the coming weeks.
The grades for the rest of the semester up to the “final” (which is just the completed yearbook pages they’ve been assigned) are going to be participatory. Are they working on their pages, making edits, proofing pages by checking spelling and proper names, etc.
What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
Girls club volleyball is still in full swing, we have three weekend tournaments in a row in April (including one in Vegas) so that’ll keep my weekends busy. Boys volleyball got our first win and we’re really building momentum. On the homefront, my daughter is almost ready to start walking and my son broke a toilet, so I did some plumbing this weekend too.
Have a wonderful week Roadrunners!
