Yearbook Update
On to week 22!
The shorter week with half days definitely helped us ease back into the swing of things and get ready for the second semester
The students did a fantastic job researching new yearbook companies and I think we have some strong contenders!
That being said, I received the news today that the winter sports season for the high school has been cancelled by the AIA; there will be no JV or Varsity Basketball this year. While this does reduce the overall work we need to do for the yearbook, we still want to feature the efforts and contributions of our athletes so we will be doing some interviewing of coaches and players (especially seniors) who more than likely have a story to tell worth writing in the yearbook! Just because COVID is interfering doesn’t mean we’re going to let it get us down!
It also means we have more time dedicated to working on the first semester items that haven’t been finished yet. I encourage you to speak with your child about what they can contribute to the yearbook.
The transition to Citrix from Flash has not been easy and causing more problems than help, so our yearbook rep will be visiting next week to work on some training with the kids
What’s going on with Mr. Dudek?
Nothing new since my last a few days ago. Club volleyball has its first tournament next weekend and it’s my daughter’s (middle child) birthday on the 20th so lots of getting things ready.
As ALWAYS, if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns please feel free to reach out.
Have a great week Roadrunners,
~Mr. Dudek
