Yearbook Update

Welcome back to week 21!

I hope everyone was able to get some much-needed rest over break and is ready to come back strong!

This week we’re taking a break from design work. Our yearbook site, Herff Jones, has gone away from their Flash format and is proving more complicated to use. In light of this, I’ve had the students working on a small research project looking at alternative yearbook companies to work with for next year. This is something that usually gets done at the end of the year but since we’ve had so many difficulties with HJ I figured this would provide a much needed break. Students will be presenting their findings on Friday.

What’s going on with Mr. Dudek?
My break was a good one. My in-laws flew in from Wisconsin on Christmas Eve and stayed through the 4th of January. I cleaned the garage, epoxy-coated the floor, built some hanging storage shelves for the garage, installed shelving and lighting in a closet, and built a fire pit. So overall productive, if not a busy, break.
