World History Update
Happy Week 18 Roadrunners!
I cannot believe that there are only three weeks left until winter break; time sure is flying by!
This week we’re covering the Trans-Saharan Trade Routes that formed during Islamic expansion, The Crusades, and The Mesoamerican societies of the Mayan, Aztec, and Inca civilizations. We’ll be doing an activity that ties together the first couple of units this year so we can prepare for the midterm that is just around the corner. The midterm will consist of a semester project (a small research assignment & powerpoint) as well as a multiple choice quiz.
As a reminder, December 11th is the last day to submit any missing or revised work. Anything submitted after 4pm on Friday the 11th will not get graded.
What’s going on with Mr. Dudek?
I had a pretty good Thanksgiving Break. I cooked the turkey via slow-cooker and flavor injection of a herb/spice blend that turned out amazing. We also had a family friend volunteer to take the kids Saturday morning through Sunday evening so I was able to take the wife and baby out for a date night/brunch date. Also got projects done around the house, namely replacing an old ceiling fan with a new one and trimming up my palm trees.
I hope you have a terrific week,
Mr. Dudek
