Sports Broadcasting Update
Good morning Roadrunners and welcome to week 8!
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. The Packers beat the Vikings which is always a good thing. 🙂 Sorry this is coming out mid-week; turns out if you don’t immediately hit send and get distracted by an email you get logged out. 🙁
This week we get ready for the return of athletics so we’ve been looking at various sporting events to see how anchors, pay-by-play analysts, reporters and camera operators do what they do.
Daily Bellwork
Behind the microphone, in front of the camera.
This has been a constantly changing class based on the landscape that is COVID-induced learning. We’re getting a new automated camera system for recording our sporting events so the course is changing from day-to-day.
Grades will be updated today. As always if your student has late/missing assignments please encourage them to get them turned in. I am lenient with the late policy and as long as students turn in quality work it is graded accordingly. HOWEVER, I am not longer accepting work for week 1 & 2 as we are past the 4 week deadline, week 3 is the first week students can turn late work in for.
What’s going on with Mr. Dudek?
Nothing new since the last update. Getting the supplies needed for my projects that’ll hopefully be done next week.
As ALWAYS, if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns please feel free to reach out to me. Also, if you see errors in the grade book, please email me.
Have a great week Roadrunners,
~Mr. Dudek
