Yearbook Week 35 Update

 In Yearbook

Good afternoon Roadrunners and welcome to week 35!

After much toiling and sleepless nights the yearbook has been completed. It was not an easy ride nor was it a smooth finish. As we approached out deadline it became clear that many of the pages were not up to standard; some had messy layouts, others missing captions, some pages slipped through the cracks and didn’t get started. We probably bit off more than we can chew, making the yearbook much larger than it needed to be. By cutting and condensing pages we were able to create a much more streamlined design and fix many of the issues we noticed.

Now that the yearbook is complete, we start prepping for next year. This week we’re developing a staff manual to guide future yearbook classes in managing expectations, deadlines, job descriptions, scheduling, etc. We’ll also be planning the distribution and signing of the yearbooks when they do arrive in a couple of weeks.

What’s new with Mr. Dudek?
With the yearbook wrapped up and volleyball over I don’t really know what I’m going to do with all my time now. I’d say sleep but my children don’t let me do that.

Have a great week roadrunners!
